The 17-year-old FURIA Academy player will represent the Argentinians in the upcoming RMR South American tournament.
André "drop" Abreu will play for Isurus in the CBCS Elite Season 1, which will serve as the first Regional Major Ranking (RMR) event for South America in 2021, the Argentinian organisation has announced.
The 17-year-old Brazilian, who is currently a part of FURIA Academy, will fill the void created by the departure of Nicolas "NikoM" Miozzi earlier this month following a string of mixed results.
drop is the longest-serving member in FURIA Academy, whom he joined in February 2020. Isurus hope that youngster will be up to the task of replacing NikoM, who averaged a 1.13 rating during his second tenure with the team.
Isurus are slated to face Bears on Thursday at 23:30 in the first round of the CBCS Elite Season 1 Swiss stage. The top eight teams will progress to the single-elimination, best-of-three playoff bracket.
Isurus' lineup for the CBCS Elite Season 1 looks as follows:
Nicolás "Noktse" Dávila
Roberto "reversive" Themtham
Marcos "deco" Amato
Tomas "tom1jed" Rivero
André "drop" Abreu
Joaquin "lokomotioN" Abasolo (head coach)
